Okanagan Dreamlift takes off

KELOWNA, BC – More than 50 children left for Disneyland from Kelowna Tuesday morning for the Sunshine Foundation’s 56th Dreamlift event.

Yellow t-shirt wearing participants crowded the Kelowna International Airport before the sun rose, anticipating an entire day in the Magic Kingdom, escorted by volunteers, media and sheriff’s from Orange County.

The trip takes place every two years from the Okanagan, helping make Disney dreams come true for children with medical challenges.
