KELOWNA – Kelowna RCMP are releasing more details on a crash that’s left a Kelowna newspaper carrier fighting for this life.
RCMP are now confirming 24-year-old Nathan Fahl is facing numerous charges, including dangerous and impaired driving causing bodily harm.
While witnesses reported a man and woman from the suspect vehicle were taken into custody, police now say three were arrested.
Fahl, along with a 34-year-old Kamloops man and a 26-year-old Kelowna woman were taken into custody. The other two in the vehicle have since been released.
Steve Kania, 41, remains in the intensive care until at Vancouver General Hospital. He was originally treated at Kelowna General Hospital then flown to VGH for further surgery.
Fahl remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on January 6th.
