Segio Magro, Global News

A variety of drug and firearm related charges have been approved against six people as the result of Project Talon, a special investigation by the Vancouver police.

The investigation was launched in October of last year.

In February, more than 100 police officers simultaneously executed search warrants in Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond on seven homes, two cars and a storage locker.

A number of people were detained and a significant amount of evidence was seized, including handguns, ammunition, cash, money counters, heroin and other drugs.

Investigators focused their efforts on 29-year-old Vancouver man Seyed Saeed Sajadi.
