Police suspect link between Ottawa man, Manitoba woman’s death

Police in Gatineau, Que., are investigating an Ottawa man in connection with the 2006 slaying of Kelly Morrisseau.

The 27-year-old, who was born in Sagkeeng First Nation, Man., was found naked in a Gatineau Park parking lot on Dec. 10, 2006. She had been stabbed multiple times.

Police suspect there could be a link between her killing and an Ottawa man charged in the deaths of two women.

Marc Leduc, 56, is already facing charges in the homicides of Leeann Lawson in 2011 and Pamela Kosmack in 2008.

Morrisseau was a mother of three and seven months pregnant when she was killed. She spent most of her life in Winnipeg.
