WINNIPEG – Three weeks after he was arrested on new sex charges, former hockey coach Graham James has still not applied for bail.
A lawyer for James told provincial court in Winnipeg that the defence is still going over the Crown’s evidence.
The case has been put over to December 3.
James has been in the Winnipeg Remand Centre since he was arrested last month on charges of sexually assaulting three boys between 1979 and 1994.
James pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two teenage players in 1997 and served 3 1/2 years in prison.
He was pardoned a decade later and was seen living in Mexico.
