Regina police, Sask. coroner deem recent death of woman non-criminal

A death investigation of a woman whose body was recently discovered is now concluded and deemed non-criminal.

The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service investigated the death of a woman who was found on Dec. 5, 2023, at 11:50 p.m.

“Patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Montague Street for a report of a deceased person,” police stated in a previous release.

“When they arrived, they discovered a deceased adult female. Officers secured the scene and requested a coroner, as well as additional police resources.”

Police stated the investigation, which includes the autopsy authorized by the coroner, has concluded and the name of the deceased woman will not be released by the Regina Police Service.
