Police say that throughout the search they were concerned for her mental well-being.

“Police are now working with the B.C. Coroner’s office to determine a cause of death.  Foul play is not suspected at this time.  Ridge Meadows RCMP want to thank all of our community partners and citizens, especially Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue who went above and beyond to try and locate Ms. Young.  Police want to pass along our condolences to Anita’s family,” says Sergeant Dale Somerville.

A cause of death hasn’t yet been determined.
