TORONTO – The Conservatives are accusing Health Minister Deb Matthews of misleading the public by saying she gave all information about how much Ornge’s ousted CEO was paid to a legislative committee probing the scandal.
Matthews insists she already gave the committee all the documents about Chris Mazza’s salary while he was at the helm of the province’s troubled air ambulance service.

But she said Tuesday that she didn’t try to find out the total amount, even though Ornge has been embroiled in allegations of financial mismanagement, exorbitant salaries and questionable business deals for nearly two years.
The New Democrats say it’s Matthews job to add it up, not the all-party committee or the media.
Tory Frank Klees says the committee doesn’t have all the information about how much Mazza collected, including a forensic audit that was done by the government.
The committee is asking the government for a copy of the audit report, all related documents and an update from the OPP on its criminal investigation of Ornge
