Bridgewater asks Dalhousie students to study plastic bag ban

BRIDGEWATER, N.S. – A Nova Scotia town is taking an unusual approach to determining whether its residents would support a ban on plastic bags.

Bridgewater council is asking a group of students from Dalhousie University in Halifax to study the idea.

The students are part of the Management Without Borders program.

Their research will include seeking input from the community and retailers.
