TORONTO — Sarah Polley’s film Stories We Tell has been short-listed for Oscar consideration.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Tuesday the 15 films in the documentary feature category that will advance in the voting process.
Polley’s look at the relationship between her parents Michael and Diane — which revealed she is the product of an extramarital affair with Harry Gulkin — was screened at film festivals before opening in early 2013.
