The bridge adjacent to Lock 20 of the Trent-Severn Waterway at the intersection of Maria Street and Ashburnham Drive will see traffic interruptions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day for routine inspection and maintenance work.
Parks Canada says that in the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Wednesday, Nov. 1

“Motorists are asked to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays and to limit traffic on quieter nearby residential streets,” Parks Canada stated.

Trucks greater than five tonnes are advised to avoid the Hunter Street crossing at the Peterborough Lift Lock and MacFarlane Street Bridge due to load and clearance limitations.
