The Saskatchewan government is to spend $120,000 for the care of zebras that were seized from a rural property in June.

The province says the five zebras are to stay at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.

The province says a person has been charged for owning the zebras without required licences under captive wildlife regulations.
