Saskatoon’s local business community mourned the loss Tuesday after the four people were identified as Karl Miller and his family.

Miller was known in Saskatoon as the founder and CEO for Meridian Development.

“Many of us in the business community consider Karl a friend, but he was also very involved in business organizations like ours,” said Jason Aebig, CEO for the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce.

Miller sat on the chamber’s board of directors, with Aebig saying he was very vocal on a range of issues in the most constructive way.
