If you’re in downtown Vancouver Sunday expect traffic delays and road closures due to the Santa Claus Parade.
The 10th annual event, which draws up to 300,000 people each year, starts at 1 p.m. on West Georgia and Broughton streets.
The parade moves east to Howe Street and then south to Davie Street.

Family-friendly festivities began Sunday morning, including live music, dance and a station where kids can write letters to Santa.
The parade has more than 3,500 participants, including 65 marching bands, choirs, festive floats, and community groups.

PARADE ROUTE:
After the parade, Santa will be available in Robson Square to pose with children.
The event is in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and parade-goers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation.
