Canada’s new EV rebates go into effect
Description
Canada’s new electric vehicle rebates go into effect on Monday. Canadians buying EVs costing less than $50,000 will once again get a $5,000 rebate from Ottawa, or $2,500 for a plug-in hybrid. Canadian-made Chrysler Pacifica’s and Dodge Charger’s are exempt from the $50,000 cap, meaning the rebate will apply no matter the final purchase price of these vehicles.
