Maple Ridge has a long tradition of making our downtown glow with lights and holiday cheer during the winter season. From the iconic red bells to the beautiful storefront displays, Maple Ridge is a magical place to be during the winter holidays. The City of Maple Ridge, in partnership with some amazing corporate partners, is once again bringing holiday cheer, fostering community pride and supporting the shop local economy with the 4^th Annual GLOW Maple Ridge.

Join the special launch event on November 26 and enjoy drumming, singing, fire dancing and live entertainment on the Memorial Peace Park bandstand. This year’s launch event will reveal a beautiful new illumination called “The Rain Enlightens – Hummingbird Illumination,” created by talented First Nations artist, Rain Trenton Pierre.

The November 26 celebration will officially launch the six-week light festival and the holiday magic of the Glow Maple Ridge season. A twinkling tunnel, a brilliant art tree, a glowing bandstand, and an interactive sequoia tree are just some of the dazzling light displays that serve as the perfect holiday backdrop for the annual community parade, Christmas markets, community special events, ACT Arts and Theatre productions, downtown food and drink experiences, boutique shopping and the perfect holiday selfie with a loved one.
