Nelson International Mural Fest has become a part of Nelson’s landscape, both physically and culturally. Our fifth anniversary is about fully returning the festival to Baker Street; we will activate the Hall Street Plaza with spectacular staged performances by friends from near and far, and muralists will bring their imagination, stories, and skills to the walls of Nelson. We will overflow with fresh murals, music, and merriment on the weekend of August 12-14. Nelson International Mural Festival strives to create a barrier-free festival by hosting all events at accessible public spaces and offering all events and activities free of charge. The festival will include live music and performance, mural tours, workshops for budding creatives, a kids activity area, a film screening, artist talks, and more, all free of charge.
