The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is proud to once again host the annual Santa’s Sleigh taking place at Walmart on Chemong Road in Peterborough from Thursday November 25th at 3 pm to Monday December 6th at noon.
Shoppers are asked to choose a child’s name from the tree, do a little shopping and drop the gift or gifts off in Santa’s Sleigh. Once purchased, the toys are delivered by Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society Social Workers for the children to open on Christmas Day.
Also returning this year, is the Family Sponsorship Program. This is a great way for local businesses and organizations to buy gifts to not just the child but the whole family during the holiday season. Please contact the Foundation at 705-743-9751 for more information.
