Each year, 770 CHQR dedicates one special day to Calgary kids and local charities creating positive change in our community. Friday, December 3rd is Pledge Day – an all-day radiothon in partnership with The Westin Calgary – dedicated to helping Calgary kids. From 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., hear firsthand about the great work the Calgary Children’s Foundation does in our community – and donate, a little or a lot – for those who may otherwise fall through the cracks.
About the Calgary Children’s Foundation
The Calgary Children’s Foundation raises money one day each year and then donates it back to local charities so Calgary kids can reach their full potential. We focus on small, grassroots charities who are not able to hold massive fundraisers or manage sophisticated communications, including supporting kids at-risk, kids with difficult medical diagnoses, kids on the Autism spectrum, kids who are living just at or below the poverty line, and kids who need just a little extra support.
