Urban Circle is looking for Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, Status/Non -Status) applicants who are willing to commit to quality training that will lead to meaningful employment and is NOW accepting applications for: ADULT EDUCATION & EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: This Grade 12 (August 16, 2021 – June 17, 2022) training program is delivered in partnership with the MB Adult Learning & Literacy and Seven Oaks School Division. This program will allow you to obtain 8 high school credits and graduate with a Mature Grade 12 Diploma and prepare you for employment or to continue into post-secondary education or the trades apprenticeship. HEALTH CARE AIDE/HEALTH UNIT CLERK DUAL-CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: This Nursing Assistant (August 23, 2021 –June 10, 2022) post secondary training program is certified by Red River College. This program prepares students for employment in acute and long-term care health facilities throughout the province. Excellent employment opportunities. EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: This (October 18, 2021 – June 17, 2022) post-secondary training program is certified by Red River College. This program prepares students for employment in educational settings to support teachers in class and to help meet the needs of students. Excellent employment opportunities. FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER PROGRAM: This (January 2022 – December 2022) Date TBA post-secondary training program is certified by Red River College. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills for employment in various community, child welfare, and support service agencies working with children, youth, and families.
