Marine Flares expire 4 years after the manufacture date. Expired Flares must be properly disposed of. You can’t throw them in the trash and you are not supposed to fire them. Here is your chance to dispose of them at no cost. So, check the date on your flares. This event only occurs once a year.. Flare Disposal Days: Vernon Yacht Club Friday, June 11th, 10am – 5pm Kelowna, Canadian Tire store parking lot Saturday, June 12th, 9am – 4pm
