2021 Virtual Walk, Run or Ride for Scleroderma

Scleroderma SASK invites you to join us for our VIRTUAL walk. This year, in absence of our usual in-person event, we are engaging in a fun online campaign with many chances at great prizes! You can participate virtually by sharing pictures that display your support while doing a variety of safe activities. If you enjoy scenic walks or runs, exercising with your pets, creating sidewalk or window art or lighting up your home and yard then be sure to visit hardword.ca to register. Scleroderma is a rare, progressive disease of the vascular and immune systems, and is a severe connective tissue disorder. In Scleroderma, the over production of collagen causes thickening, hardening and scarring of organs often leading to complications. There is no way to determine which organs will be affected or how aggressive the disease will be. We do know that Scleroderma is not contagious. There is no known cause, no specific treatment and no cure. June is Scleroderma Month in Saskatchewan. Registration is now open for our virtually scheduled event.
