The Fraser River Discovery Centre is excited to present its next edition of the ongoing ‘Super Saturdays’ public program, taking place on Saturday, April 24th from 10AM – 4PM. Taking place on the last Saturday of every month, Super Saturdays is a series of public programs geared towards families. There are lots of activities that explore different features of the Fraser River, from its booming economy to its diverse ecosystem! This month we’re celebrating the return of migratory birds to the Fraser River estuary with homemade bird feeder crafts made from pinecones, cardboard tube, and a variety of other materials! It’s a fun and engaging activity for the whole family, and you’ll get to create some tasty treats for our resident and migratory birds, too! COVID-19 Safety protocols are in effect, and pre-registration is required for this activity. WHAT: Super Saturdays – Homemade Bird Feeders WHEN: Saturday, April 24th, 10AM – 4PM WHERE: Fraser River Discovery Centre, 788 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC https://fraserriverdiscovery.org/super-saturdays/
