Join the Royal BC Museum for their Orcas Virtual Gala.
This first-of-its-kind virtual gala includes an interactive game of “Artifact or Artifiction”— a battle of wits with museum staff as you try to guess which artifact tales are true and which are false.
Then, dive deeper into Orcas with a talk from artist Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas, who will speak about his watercolour artwork, Orcinus Orca Skannaa, which is featured in the exhibition and combines perspectives often seen as separate: science, pop culture, Indigenous knowledge and ecological activism.
