Toque Tuesday

Join Safe Haven Foundation, Raising the Roof and other partner agencies across Canada on February 2nd for Toque Tuesday as we sell toques and masks in support of long-term solutions to homelessness. The toque and mask represent a powerful message #Rise2021 in doing your part as we rise above COVID-19, rise above homelessness and move towards a better future, as a team, in our communities, and across our country, helping to spread empathy and awareness around people at-risk of or experiencing homelessness. This year is Raising the Roof’s 24th Anniversary Toque Campaign! Since 1997, the Toque Campaign has raised over $8 million to support over 200 community agencies across Canada and supports long-term solutions to homelessness. How it works? Funds raised in Calgary stay in Calgary. 50% of all purchases from Safe Haven Foundation will go directly to us, while the remaining proceeds (after campaign costs) support Raising the Roof’s national homelessness prevention initiatives. 50% of purchases made online from Raising the Roof (www.raisingtheroof.org) will be shared between participating agencies in the local community where the purchaser resides.
