In this workshop, each participant will complete their very own nuno felted scarf. They will learn how each fibre reacts with the others as they create a beautiful piece. Participants will learn different techniques of wet felting a scarf to add texture and unique characteristics of this amazing medium, working with a variety of wool types including merino top, 80/20 merino-silk blend, Corriedale, mohair locks, and an array of novelty yarns for textures. The skills learned in this class could be applied to make felted wall hangings. No experience necessary. Participants will get wet!
