Mercury Opera and Quarters Arts present Holiday Swing with The Mercury Five

Mercury Opera and Quarters Arts are “making spirits bright” with Holiday Swing at CO*LAB Arts Space. Mercury Opera’s successful COVID inspired pivot continues with The Mercury Five presenting Holiday Hits from the swing era and more, for three socially distanced shows this December. The Mercury Five Boris Derow – vocals Darcia Parada – vocals Chris Evans – keys Allen Jacobson – trombone & vocals Josh McHan – bass The commodious venue complete with double garage doors and outdoor courtyard acts as an indoor/outdoor event experience. So dust off your tinsel, and dress in your warmest holiday best for a swingin’ night of COVID – conscious, socially distanced fun. . Mercury Opera is known for messing with the public’s perception of opera bringing it to railway platforms, tents, boats, back alleys, strip clubs, saloons, a diner, and the Badlands Amphitheatre. CO*LAB is a citizen-led, communities – run arts facility that provides resources and exposure to the arts within the Boyle Street neighbourhood.
