Bring your painting supplies and study with Jane Appleby, who will work with you to encourage your expressive style. Media may include watercolour, pastels, acrylic and oils (odourless solvents only). Colour expression and composition will be covered in this one-day class. Jane will offer individual attention to each participant and offer painting tips. About the Instructor Known for her lyrical brushwork and expressive use of colour, Jane Appleby’s work intimates an emotional, unique abstraction of her landscape subjects. Her work is found in a number of galleries and in exhibitions throughout the region. Jane is one of 15 finalists in the McMichael Art Museums Virtual Plein Air Competition in the canvas/panel category, and her painting, “Galiano Shoreline”, will be part of their virtual exhibition.
