The WFSC hosts its 13th annual Book and Author Fair on Saturday, September 26th from 10 am until 4:00 pm in conjunction with Alberta Culture Days. Although 2020 provided us challenges for public events, we are pleased to offer a virtual Words in the Park celebrating local artisans, culture & heritage. The WFSC has represented and promoted the literary arts in our community since our founding in 2005. For 15 years, the group has been involved in local events, hosted a monthly writer’s circle, an annual conference (established 2010), and its signature fall event – Words in the Park (established 2008). Since 2015, the WFSC moved the book fair to coincide with the provincial cultural celebration and incorporated aspects of all arts and culture into the literary mix. We are privileged to collaborate with talented groups and artists over the years making Words in the Park a cultural community celebration. Words in the Park friends – would you like to share your book or art project with us for promotion in the 2020 Words in the Park – ONLINE event? We are hosting an all-day virtual book and author fair on Saturday, September 26th from 10 am until 4:00 pm in conjunction with Alberta Culture Days.
