Starting September 21, the first three episodes of 24 from the “OneWorld Spotlight” mini-documentary series will be released as part of Alberta Culture Days. Each mini-doc will feature an interview with representatives from each cultural pavilion participating at GlobalFest. The participants will share history, stories and music from their heritage and reflect on what it means to be Canadian – just as they normally would at the festival in Elliston Park. The popular Passport Pursuit contest, which usually takes place with attendees visiting each of the pavilions to answer passport questions, will instead happen online. Viewers can find clues in each mini-doc episode, with two episodes released each week for 12 weeks. At the series conclusion, viewers can enter their answers in the online ‘Passport’ on the GlobalFest site for a chance to win a prize pack valued at over $6000
