Alzheimers Virtual Walk - image

IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s is virtual again this year on May 29th!

During the month of May, walk 8,590 steps to honour each of the 8,590 people living with dementia in Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, and Haliburton. The fundraising goal is $85,900!

Walk wherever you can, around your neighbourhood, on one of our local trails, or even in your house. All proceeds go to funding our local Alzheimer Society’s programs and services. Please follow Public Health guidelines and restrictions.

The Walk for Alzheimer’s (formerly Walk for Memories) is a unique, joyful event. It is an annual way to celebrate life, honour a caregiver, and come together with a community of people who understand the devastating impact of this disease. It is a courageous way to help support those living with the disease, and show that we are leading the way to end Alzheimer’s.

Help us honour and remember the people who have lived with dementia, and join us in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease.

Sponsored by 101.5 The Wolf, Global Peterborough and 100.5 FRESH Radio.
