WINNIPEG, December 3, 2019 – Singer, songwriter, musician, producer, entertainer, humanitarian, and superstar Toby Keith has announced a show in Winnipeg at Bell MTS Place on Friday, July 24, 2020.

Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Terri Clark will be joining Keith in Winnipeg, as well as local country group C-Weed Band.

Tickets go on sale to the public December 6 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.

Toby Keith’s awards are too numerous to count — including Artist of the Decade nods from Billboard and the American Country Awards, as well as the ACM’s Career Achievement honor, Poet’s Award recipient, and twice their Entertainer of the Year award winner in back-to-back years. The Nashville Songwriters Association International named him Songwriter/Artist of the Decade, and he is a three-time BMI Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year. His songs have received more than 92 million BMI performances on commercial radio stations worldwide, making him the organization’s top country songwriter in terrestrial country radio. Keith’s albums have sold more than 40 million copies. His tours have drawn more than one million fans each year for more than a decade straight, with recent expansion into Europe and Australia.

Keith’s most recent months are a remarkably accurate representation of his entire career. He just released Toby Keith Greatest Hits: The Show Dog Years, a collection that features more than a dozen tracks with four newly recorded songs including “That’s Country Bro,” which he performed on CBS’ The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night, as well as on NBC’s Today, the CMT Music Awards, and The Voice finale earlier this summer, as well as the new song, “Don’t Let The Old Man In,” which was inspired by a conversation he had with Clint Eastwood and was later featured in Eastwood’s movie, “The Mule.”

Terri Clark will also be taking the stage at Bell MTS Place. Hailing from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Terri Clark got her start by playing for tips at Tootsies Orchid Lounge, a legendary honky-tonk bar across the alley from Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. With over 5 million albums sold, critically acclaimed international tours, and hit singles such as “Better Things To Do”, “Poor Poor Pitiful Me”, “Girls Lie Too”, “Northern Girl”, and “I Just Wanna Be Mad”, Terri has solidified her place in the history books of country music. In September 2018 Terri was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. The 3-time JUNO Award winner also holds the honor of being the only Canadian female member of the legendary Grand Ole Opry. She has been named CCMA Female Vocalist of the Year five times and has taken home eight CCMA Fan’s Choice Awards. In total, Terri has had the honor of receiving 19 CCMA Awards.

The C-Weed Band, lead by Errol Ranville, a country singer from Eddystone, Manitoba will open the show on the Bell MTS Place stage.  Ranville’s songs include number one hits on the National Aboriginal Top 40 Countdown. The band’s hits include “Evangeline,” “High and Dry,” and “Run As One.”

Tickets go on sale to the public December 6 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
