Celebrate Food Day Canada with Hotel Arts and Trail’s End Beef. Hotel Arts is bringing the table to the farm for an intimate experience with incredible Alberta ranchers. A truly Albertan experience, diners will learn about local and ethical ranching practices (from vegetarian turned rancher Rachel Herbert and her husband Tyler) while surrounded by open skies, rolling hills and ranch lands. Savour a four-course menu featuring Trail’s End Beef complemented with pairings from Alberta craft breweries and distilleries. The dinner will take place in a barn at Trail’s End Beef on the Herbert family homeplace where the prairie meets the Porcupine Hills near Nanton, AB, with a beef and barley inspired menu prepared by Quinn Staple, Executive Chef of the Hotel Arts Group. This beef-forward menu pays tribute to Alberta Beef and the ethical ranching practices by Trail’s End Beef (including raising grassfed, grass-finished cattle and direct-marketing to consumers). Alberta Barley is creatively fused into the menu from side dishes to beverage pairings like cocktails from Eau Claire Distillery and offerings from Alberta-based craft breweries. Tickets are $125 for an all-inclusive dining experience.
