Dear Friends! “Our house is a land, it is ours alone, not an obstacle to the ocean and together we, my friends from different cities and different countries.’ This is a fourth year the Festival “Friendship without Borders” will be held on August 25 in the Perez Center 6184 Ash Street, Vancouver BC. Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Tatarstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia will take part in this event. The purpose of the festival of national cultures: To acquaint the people of Canada and our children with the traditions and customs, history and culture of Russia and neighbouring countries. At the festival you can get acquainted with national cuisines, visit the exhibition-sale of decorative and applied art and paintings, see performances of creative teams from different countries. Concert program of the festival on English and Russian: 12 p.m.-2 p.m.: the presentation of talented children, as well as various entertainments for the young visitors of the festival 2 p.m.-5 p.m.: a concert of national bands, immigrants from these countries, as well as friends of our festival. The festival will help to get to know people of different nationalities more closely, to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between peoples.
