Moby Dick

Scorpio Theatre presents ‘Moby Dick’, a play adapted for stage by Jon Jory, from May 31 – June 8, 2019. The last show in its 2018-2019 season, this adaptation from the 1851 literary classic by American writer Herman Melville tells the obsessive quest of Ahab for revenge on a white whale, and the ramifications to himself and his crew. Director, Ted Lach, is taking a unique turn to the tale with an all-female cast, bringing a female perspective into the characters, their motives and actions. Synopsis: Three small words will transport you into a literary classic, filled with both the perils of nature and the dangers of obsession. Three small words will ignite the story of one man’s relentless and unbending quest for revenge. Three small words will show you all that most maddens and an torments and breaks the mind of this one man, and destroys the lives of those who would follow him into the deep.
