Drone at the Global Market on May 25, 2019 will fill downtown Brandon with some new and interesting sounds. Organized as part of International Drone Day celebrations, the event —beginning at 2:00pm at the Global Market (1215 Rosser Avenue)— will showcase local artists experimenting with drone music including Moon Shape Noise (modular synthesizer), Jeff Smith (guitar) and Abby-Jade (cello duo). The event is free, so bring a chair, blanket or yoga mat to relax and enjoy the drones. Attendees are also encouraged to participate in the Drone Jam at the end of the performances.
