We are pleased to invite all for celebrations of Vaisakhi 2019 and Sikh heritage in Saskatoon.  The Gurudwara Sahib (Sikh Society of Saskatchewan), 331 Lowe Road is hosting the ANNUAL SIKH PARADE (fondly called 2019 NAGAR KIRTAN) which will be held in the University Heights neighbourhood.  There will be events starting at 10:00am, commemorating the Khalsa Sikh tradition, history and heritage, and include presence of honorary City Saskatoon and Province of Saskatchewan officials invited to share time with us.  The PARADE will start from 331 Lowe Road, heading south and east onto Nelson Road, Heal Avenue, towards Attridge Drive; and then west towards Alice Turner Library, where it will follow on Nelson Road towards Forest Parks (across Centennial Collegiate).  Variety of free vegetarian food and refreshment stalls, the event Stage, and other stalls, highlighting Sikh heritage will all be at the Forest Park sites to allow for 2 to 3 hours of activities.  We encourage everyone to come and enjoy with friends and families at this entire event between 10:00am and 5:00pm.  Ample parking is available for the event around Nelson Road.
