Our festival, held over two days on the second weekend in September, is entering its 19th year. The dragon boat racing happens on Skaha Lake. Alongside the action-packed racing, the event also features a beverage garden, a wide range of vendors, lots of great food and over 2,500 athletes. Proceeds from the beverage garden will be going to Survivorship – The South Okanagan’s Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team. The racing consists of two 500 m qualifying heats on Saturday, followed by semis Sunday morning, and finals Sunday afternoon. The races are visible for the entire 500 m course.
