Comedy for a Cause: Accessibility for all

CHIP/CAPA will be hosting a special Comedy for a Cause fundraiser. In honor of national accessibility week. This first-time-ever, one-of-a-kind stand-up comedy extravaganza features award-winning comedian DJ Demers of America’s Got Talent, Conan, and Just For Laughs fame. Hosted by actor, humorist, and disability-rights activist Gael Hannan, and featuring local talents Jon Selig, Serag Meletian, and CHIP’s own Abby Stonehouse, the evening promises serious laughs! Best of all, this event is fully accessible to people with low mobility, vision, and/or hearing, and all proceeds go towards CHIPs new scholarships and bursaries supporting accessibility. Accessibility measures include closed captioning, T-Loop, full wheelchair access, and sighted guides for people with low vision. ASL interpretation is available upon request by May 15th, and braille (paper) tickets are also available upon request.
