The Music of the Living Legends of the 1960’s, on a Steel City Stage
Six Rock & Roll Hall of Fame acts will be on the same stage, for one incredible night.
On Saturday, October 5th 2019, the First Ontario Concert Hall in Hamilton, will be the scene of a magical night of memories. And with those memories, a very important message.
Performing from The Big Apple, New York City:
The Drifters-featuring Rick Sheppard, a member since 1966.
The Shirelles-with former original lead vocalist Shirley Alston-Reeves
The Platters-former lead vocalist Sonny Turner, since 1960.
Motown is celebrating its Diamond Anniversary in 2019. It’s been 60 years since Barry Gordy Jr. founded the company that became a musical, cultural and commercial force, that will always be linked to the city.

Funds raised from this event will go to the DRIVE Foundation, which exists to make a tangible difference to the lives of those suffering from the epidemic of mental health and addiction issues.
Michelle Titian has been surrounded by music her entire life.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Michelle struggled with alcohol for many years.
Spending years of her life using alcohol as an escape mechanism from her depression and ultimately, her reality, Michelle became a shell of a human, so disengaged and numb to her life it was as if she ended each day lying on her back staring blankly at the stars, completely removed from the world. Feelings of worthlessness and self-hate were all too overwhelming and she was no longer in control of herself. She hit rock bottom.
Seeking help through a 12-step program, Michelle has been sober since March 10th 2014. Motivated to write again, she wrote the song “DRIVE”, a powerful song about her recovery.
“WHAT A NIGHT” is proudly presented by LiUNA, Titan Productions of Hamilton and Global News Radio 900 CHML.
This incredible evening will be hosted by Ted Michaels, of the award-winning Health and Wellness show on 900 CHML.
“For far too long, the issue of someone’s mental health or addiction was hidden; not talked about,” said Martha Reeves, of the Vandellas.
“While we’ve made progress in the battle to break the stigma, we still need to do more.
An event like “WHAT A NIGHT” is a perfect opportunity to shed a light on this important topic, and have a lot of fun at the same time.

Rick Sheppard, front man of the Drifters, looks through the mental health lens, from a different perspective.
“As a former NYPD training officer, we dealt with many EDP’s (emotionally disturbed person.) There are so many people that need assistance. We need to help them, not judge them. We’re so happy to do our part to fight mental health and addiction issues.”
