Lace up for Diabetes

This April, join Diabetes Canada for its annual Lace Up for Diabetes run/walk at Assiniboine Park. The event features something for everyone—10k timed run, 5k run/walk, 3k run/walk and kids fun run. Designed for serious runners, families, corporate teams, and individuals that want to come out and have a good time and support someone living with diabetes! Prizes for top fundraisers • Food and beverage tent for participants • Games and activities for the entire family • Corporate teams encouraged! Diabetes has reached epidemic proportions in Canada. Currently, more than eleven million Canadians are living with diabetes or prediabetes. Funds raised by Lace Up for Diabetes will be used for much-needed research, diabetes education, services and advocacy on behalf of the 131,000 Manitoba children and adults living with diabetes.
