Parenting 101 Conference

Parenting 101 is Canada’s premier parenting conference. Returning to Kelowna on February 8 & 9, 2019, this event brings together 15+ parenting experts from across North America for a weekend of rich conversations and education, equipping attendees to be the best parent possible. What is Parenting 101? Parenting 101 is a conference for anyone who is raising kids. Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Guardians and new for 2019 – Early Childhood Educators who are looking for advice, support, and help raising their little humans are encouraged to join us! Take in a weekend of sessions, community building, and simply take a well-deserved break! Why/How did Parenting 101 come to be? Parenting 101 was birthed out of a desire to create an event designed for and by parents! Our team has drive to become better people in general and that includes becoming better parents. We were searching for an established event for parents to learn, grow, and connect and found that it did not exist, so, we decided to create it! What can I expect if I attend? As an attendee, you will be able to attend all four amazing keynote sessions with influential parenting “experts”, as well as have the opportunity to choose from a long list of breakout sessions all geared towards you: the parent/guardian or educator. Snacks and beverages on Friday night, and a continental breakfast and a hot lunch on Saturday, along with two coffee breaks with snacks are all included with your registration cost, as are additional take-aways given exclusively to our attendees. New for 2019, we are also including on-site childcare included in the cost of registration. Do you provide childcare? YES! We provide an on-site “pop up daycare” provided and serviced by Nannysitters, a local nanny and child care agency here in Kelowna, BC. This service is appropriate for kids aged 0 – 12 and is included in your registration fee-a new add-on for 2019. The value of this service alone, is worth the full price of registration.
