Merritt, B.C., Oct. 13, 2018 – WWF and Burrowing Owl Conservation Society of BC are teaming up to bring burrowing owls back to the B.C. southern grasslands by engaging residents in hands-on conservation efforts. Members of the public are invited to help install artificial burrows on private property and learn more about this endangered species at an event on Oct. 5.
