Jonathan Richman has been playing music, recording and touring for most of his life. Jonathan and his drummer Tommy Larkins win fans wherever they play their whimsical and minimalist comic songs. Fans of the 1998 movie There’s Something About Mary will recognize the duo as the musical chorus through the film. Jonathan formed the noted band The Modern Lovers in the early 1970s and Tommy Larkins was in the groups Naked Prey, Giant Sand and other popular bands in Tucson, Arizona.
