Set for some end-of-summer fun by the lake? Don’t miss the first SMAsh Retro Tennis FUNdraiser, Sept. 21-22 at Lakeshore Racquets Club, as we create a brighter future for Summerland and its museum. Get together with friends and enjoy early 80s aerobics, costumes, karaoke and, yes, wooden tennis racquets, all in a park setting next to Okanagan Lake. You need only look like McEnroe or Navratilova. Little tennis talent is required. Proceeds go to support Summerland’s Light at the Museum campaign. Donations are accepted and tickets are available at summerlandmuseum.org.
