COURSE DESCRIPTION: Join Kushok and Michelle Dionne-Nisbet for a wonderful one-day workshop exploring gratitude through yoga and meditation practice. Gratitude, the quality of being thankful, holds an essential place in both meditation and yoga practice. In yoga, being thankful for whatever capacity our body is able to offer can bring about greater peace with our physical practice as it evolves day by day. In meditation, having a mind that experiences gratitude can lead to greater daily joy, peace of mind through cultivating satisfaction, and can ultimately lead us to develop the heartfelt wish to repay the kindness of others. TARGET AUDIENCE: Anyone with an interest in exploring yoga and meditation is welcome to attend this workshop. COURSE DATE: Satuday, September 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. COURSE FEE: $70 for Non-Members and Lotus Members $63 for Jewel Members $56 for Vajra Members REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Space is limited to 20 participants so please register early. Payment in full is required to guarantee your spot. LUNCH: Please bring your own lunch to enjoy in our dining hall downstairs. We have a fridge and microwave in the kitchen if you need to cool or reheat anything as well as utensils and napkins. HOW TO REGISTER: Register online (preferred). WHAT TO BRING: – yoga mat – blanket or shawl – yoga strap or belt from a bathrobe – Notebook – Pen – Note: Cushions and chairs are available for meditation
