Welcome to Circle – The Traveling Food, Beer & Music Carnival presented by BassBus, Village Brewery & YYCFoodTrucks. We’re turning five! Help us celebrate the best things in life, the stuff we can all agree on: fine food, cold drinks, music on the stereo, and friends and family to share the moment with. What’s in store, you ask? Plenty! Multiple curated stages of music and dance from the DJ next door to international touring acts, presented by BassBus. We select a perfect middle ground on all fronts for Circle’s musical backdrop: styles progress from upbeat funk and catchy folk during the daytime, to an all out fire-infused, brightly coloured party when the sun goes down. Expect soulful melodies, big funky basslines, and dancefloors full of smiling faces. Two bars by Village Brewery, with a site wide liquor license to keep everyone milling happily about our entire transformed festival grounds. Sip on the Village Brew classics you know and love or knock back a highball before you cruise to whatever festival silliness you fancy. Local food by YYCFoodTrucks, from BBQ to gelato to perogies – every palate and craving you may or may not have can be satisfied from noon to night, so don’t worry about packing a lunch. The Fast ‘n’ The Furriest Wiener Dog Race Presented by VCA Canada – for all the excitement and fast-paced shenanigans happening at Circle, suffice it to say that the Fast ‘n’ The Furriest Wiener Dog Race is without a doubt the pinnacle of competition and intensity for the day. Watch out, folks, the stakes are high! Carnival Market, featuring local artisan vendors – deck out your sunshiney wardrobe, find that perfect accessory, and support craftspeople and merchants who live and work in your community. Circus performers in every corner, from the main stage to roving characters. Warning: hoots and hollers may occur without warning from children and adults alike. Stilts included! Kids Stage – magicians and kooky delights galore at this fun stop amongst the larger revelry Circus School for kids – turn that endless ball of energy into something new and fun. Awaken new passions for dance and performance that your young ones didn’t even know they had. Lego Land – build, craft, create and share. An endless pile of ever-shifting colourful fun.
