Birds on Parade!

On August 20th, 2018, join us in a grand parade as we greet thousands of scientists and bird enthusiasts from around the world! The parade of birds will swoop and sing along the seawall in Vancouver’s beautiful Coal Harbour (from Harbour Green Park to Jack Poole Plaza) to open the First Annual Vancouver International Bird Festival and launch the 27th International Ornithological Congress. Birds on stilts! Bird puppets! Bird flags and Bird choruses, representing and celebrating local and migratory birds from our communities. Come and Join The Parade! All are welcome! We’re holding workshops and rehearsals leading up to the parade, including costume making, movement and bird song. http://birdsonparade.com Represent a local bird!
