The Premiere women’s softball event of the season, the 2018 Canada Cup International Softball Championship will showcase some of the best female athletes from across Canada and the world – between July 13-22.
The tournament will host an estimated 1,200 elite athletes spanning five divisions: Women’s international, Futures Gold (U19), Futures Select (U19), Showcase Gold (16U) and Showcase Select (16U).
The Canada Cup event provides an opportunity for young women to participate in a world class event involving some of the best current and up and coming stars in the game. The event also serves as an opportunity for participants to showcase their talents in front of college and university scouts from some of the top schools in North America who attend the event.
The 2018 Canada Cup International Softball Championship would not be possible without the dedication and support of the more than 350 volunteers that assist year after year, take care of every detail and in doing so, ensure this is a world class event in every respect.
Canada Cup 2018 will take place at Softball City (2201 148 Avenue, Surrey, BC), Cloverdale Athletic Park (6330 168 Street, Surrey, BC), and Sunnyside Park (15455 26 Avenue, Surrey)

The Canada Cup International Softball Championship is operated by the Canadian Open Fastpitch Society, a registered not-for-profit society dedicated to advocating and encouraging the development of the sport of softball by staging a first class, family oriented elite international fastpitch event. The event is devoted to providing young, high caliber, female athletes the opportunity to expand their potential and ability by fielding elite level fastpitch teams, offer exposure to potential university and college scholarships, provide a source of inspiration and mentorship to the youth of the sport, and provide an entertaining, fun-filled sporting experience for the Canada Cup spectator.
