The Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade is celebrating its 109th year in our city. More than a family outing; it’s a holiday tradition, Winnipeg’s longest-running and largest event. The highlight of the parade is Old St. Nick arriving on his float. After being in use for 60+ years it has run out of reindeer power. While his elves are busy making toys, it’s up to us to build him a new float. Without the magic of Santa’s arrival, this is just another event. The Parade is run by a non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors and your support is needed to ensure this magical experience continues for years to come.
